I bought this case before I had received my iPod Touches from Apple. Received the Touch 5's yesterday and when I saw them, I thought they didn't really require a case. They are so slim and the colors are cool (got them in black and red). I left them without the case for a few hours as I was playing around with the device, but then soon saw a tiny scratch on the back. Our old Touch 4 is badly beat up on the back and I didn't want to take chances. So I put these cases on the two devices - black case on the black, and clear case on the red Touch. My first reaction - WOW!

The case fits the device perfectly and keeps it sleek form factor. It has two cutouts on the back - one for the camera/flash and the other for the loop connector thing. Case itself is rather thin and keeps the Touch's original profile intact. It has a nice grip to it and another good thing is that it doesn't retain fingerprints on itself. So it looks clean and fits great. I had some trouble installing the loop through the opening, it can be applied just takes an extra minute. So I removed the case, put the loop on the Touch, and then drew the loop through the case opening when installing the case. If I ever need to remove the loop, I can simply remove it without having to touch the case. The volume and power buttons are covered with the case, and are comfortably pressed. It has openings for the speaker at the bottom, charger, and headphones. The opening for the headphones can fit Apple's earpods comfortably, but I have a set of SkullCandy headphones with a large audio jack, and I can fit those in only with an adapter.

If you have a iTouch other than silver or black, I personally recommend getting the Clear or Transparent version of this case. It keeps the sharp color of the iTouch intact and looks awesome. If you have the silver or black, the black case is perfect (just my personal preference). I am using the transparent one on my Red iPod Touch and the black case on my black iTouch. Very pleased with both cases and would highly recommend them.
